POKHARA: The mortal remains of late Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari who lost his life in Taplejung chopper crash on Wednesday has been brought to his home district in Kaski.
His body is presently kept at Pokhara Exhibition Centre for final tributes. Later today, final rites of the late minister will be carried out in Ramghat after the tribute programme. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Ishwar Pokharel and Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Prithvi Subba Gurung laid the national flag over the mortal remains of Minister Adhikari.
Likewise, former deputy prime minister and leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Bam Dev Gautam, Spokesperson of NCP (NCP) Narayan Kaji Shrestha among others paid tribute to Minister Adhikari by draping him with the party flag. Late Minister Adhikari’s father Indra Prasad Adhikari, mother Laxmi Adhikari and wife Bidhya Adhikari offered their heartfelt tributes.
